São apresentados neste documento os principais resultados e conclusões de três pesquisas realizadas por iniciativa do GT Florestas do Fórum Brasileiro de ONGs e Movimentos Sociais para o Meio Ambiente e Desenvolvimento (FBOMS) sobre a relação entre a expansão do cultivo de soja e o desmatamento.
