The publication presents two models of institutional frameworks for the development of a national policy for compensating reduced emissions from deforestation and forest degradation (REDD) in Brazil. In addition, the book demonstrates the country’s favorable conditions for the implementation of a REDD regime and presents possible sources of funding.
