O Plano Municipal de Desenvolvimento Rural Sustentável (PMDRS) de Marabá é um documento que tem como objetivo diagnosticar o meio rural e delinear as diretrizes para o Desenvolvimento Rural Sustentável do município. O PMDRS é um documento de utilidade pública que deve subsidiar e direcionar todas as políticas públicas e programas de âmbito rural/agropecuário fomentado pela Prefeitura, demais órgãos governamentais e outras instituições envolvidas neste contexto.

The success of REDD+ is limited by a lack of engagement of farmers. The success of the commodity roundtables is limited by the high costs of farm certification. This proposal is designed to overcome these limitations, linking a process that has funds but needs farmers (REDD+) with processes that have farmers but need funds (commodity roundtables) to achieve significant GHG emissions reductions.
