O Plano Municipal de Desenvolvimento Rural Sustentável (PMDRS) de Floresta do Araguaia é um documento que tem como objetivo diagnosticar o meio rural e delinear as diretrizes para o Desenvolvimento Rural Sustentável do município. O PMDRS é um documento de utilidade pública que deve subsidiar e direcionar todas as políticas públicas e programas de âmbito rural/agropecuário fomentado pela Prefeitura, demais órgãos governamentais e outras instituições envolvidas neste contexto.
