Este é um informe que traz um glossário sobre diversos conceitos relacionados à raça e a gênero, como por exemplo: colorismo, branquitude, mimetismo, apropriação cultural, binarismo de gênero, orientação sexual, etnia, entre outros.

Ele foi elaborado para o Encontro Nacional Open Space Interseccionalidade Raça & Gênero da Cooperação Alemã para o Desenvolvimento Sustentável (GIZ), pelo GT Gênero e Projeto de Direitos Humanos. A diagramação e as ilustrações são Giullia Pontual.

O material é leitura complementar do Módulo Lilás, chamado “Gênero em Cadeias de Valor”, um dos sete temas que compõem o Programa CapGestão, realizado pelo consórcio Eco Consult / IPAM.

Effects of partial throughfall exclusion on the phenology of Coussarea racemosa (Rubiaceae) in an east-central Amazon rainforest

Severe droughts may alter the reproductive phenology of tropical tree species, but our understanding of these effects has been hampered by confounded variation in drought, light and other factors during natural drought events. We used a large-scale experimental reduction of throughfall in an easterncentral Amazon forest to study the phenological response to drought of an abundant subcanopy tree, Coussarea racemosa. We hypothesized that drought would alter the production and the timing of reproduction, as well as the number of viable fruits.

With the objective of reflecting on the causes that led to this deforestation and stimulating a reaction by the Brazilian Public Sector, IPAM, ISA and IMAZON, present in this document their reflections on the increase in deforestation that occurred in 2013 and put forth a series of recommendations for moving forward with reductions in rates of forest destruction in the Amazon.
