Mato Grosso no caminho do desenvolvimento de baixas emissões: custos e benefícios da implementação do sistema estadual de REDD+

The Tanguro Project has begun in 2004 focusing on the development of innovative techniques for the recovery of degraded areas at the agricultural frontier. Since then, the goals have expanded. The interdisciplinary group of researchers is currently studying the processes that affect an ecosystem in order to outline an agricultural production model that is balanced with conservation of the Amazon and Cerrado.

Unindo esforços, as ONGs Aliança da Terra e IPAM (Instituto de Pesquisa Ambiental da Amazônia) junto com produtores rurais e outros agentes sociais criaram o cadastro de compromisso socioambiental (CCS). Através do CCS é feito um diagnóstico da situação da propriedade rural em termos ambientais e sociais.
